Choir Capital: Jaws of Hell

Early-12th-century Romanesque capital in the choir, depicting the damned entering the Jaws of Hell. A Latin inscription at the top reads INFERNUS ("Hell"). On the right side of the capital is St. Michael, as part of a scene of the Weighing of Souls.
