- Zodiac Window, c.1220: Bellringers and Donor
- Caption
- Detail of the bottom right of the Zodiac Window in the south ambulatory aisle, dating from around 1220. The inscription says Count Thibault VI of Champagne paid for the window in memory of Thomas, Count of Perche, who was killed at the Battle of Lincoln (1217). This donor also contributed to the adjacent Story of the Virgin window. The historical reference gives an approximate date to both windows.
