- The so-called Mound of the Hostages, a passage tomb dating from c.2500-2100 BC. The short passage is astronomically aligned with the sunrise on on November 8 and February 4, the ancient Celtic festivals of Samhain and Imbolc. Just inside the passage on the left is a carved stone; several Bronze Age burials were excavated in the tomb itself. Hill of Tara, County Meath, Ireland.
