|Caption:||Frescoes on the east wall of the Baptistère Saint-Jean in Poitiers. The baptistery was built around 360, making it the oldest church in France. The smaller frescoes depict scenes from the life of St. John the Baptist and date from the 13th century. The large fresco of Emperor Constantine on horseback is earlier, from the 11th or 12th century.|
